Head of Credit Adminstration

Responsibilities:

Manage a team:-

- in handling the preparation and execution of Facility Documentation in full compliance with the internal standards and external regulatory requirements;

- in handling pre-activation clearance and liaise with external legal counsel, Operations and Finance Departments to facilitate disbursement, redemption and termination or any other matters in connection to the facility;

- in keeping proper safe-keeping of the Facility and Security Documents.

• Work with internal and external legal counsel and relevant internal stakeholders to review and design facility and security documents for existing and new products, taking into consideration the legal, risk and operational aspects.
• Work with internal stakeholders to constantly review and implement operational procedures, processes and automation to improve efficiency among departments.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of Credit Administration experience in the financial industry, preferably in the SME financing segment.
• Strong understanding of credit documentation especially in mortgage documentation.
• A proactive problem-solver with good understanding of financing products.
• Able to uphold a firm stand with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly meticulous with great attention to details and accuracy.
• Self-motivated and keen learner to expand beyond the scope.
• Has prior experience in leading a team or effectively mentored and guided junior colleagues.
• Candidate with legal background would be an added advantage.
