Head of Finance MCST

Our client is an iconic mixed-use property development.

As the Head of Finance (MCST), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our client's organisation. You’ll oversee all financial aspects, make strategic decisions, and provide expert guidance to the management team. Your expertise will directly impact the MCST’s financial well-being and growth. Having experience in dealing with the council members directly is a must as well as having experience dealing with retail/commercial developments.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Forecasting:

• Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts for monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
• Evaluate financial data to make informed decisions and approve or reject budgets.
• Conduct risk assessments to safeguard the organization’s financial interests.

Team Leadership and Resource Management:

• Lead and supervise a team ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Allocate resources effectively and manage cash flows to optimize financial stability.

Profit and Cost Analysis:

• Analyze profit margins, cost structures, and overall financial performance.
• Identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.

Confidentiality and Compliance:

• Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential financial information.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal audit requirements.

Strategic Financial Guidance:

• Consult with board members on funding options and financial strategies.
• Recommend cost-saving solutions to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Manager in Finance or similar leadership role.
• In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.
• Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting models.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Leadership abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
