Head of Legal and Compliance

A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Head of Legal and Compliance to lead its Singapore compliance and legal function. This is a senior appointment responsible for shaping and overseeing strong regulatory governance while supporting business growth across diverse financial markets.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝑶𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚:

• Lead and manage the Legal and Compliance function in Singapore.
• Drive regulatory strategy, governance and compliance frameworks.
• Advise senior management and the Board on regulatory and conduct risks.
• Oversee investigations, remediation and regulatory engagements.
• Build a strong, high-performance compliance culture and develop talent.
• Manage compliance monitoring, licensing and regulatory obligations.
• Partner with regulators, head office, and internal stakeholders.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆’𝒓𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓:

• Degree in Bachelor of Laws or equivalent.
• 15+years’ experience in legal and compliance within financial services.
• Strong expertise across capital markets, trading, corporate finance, and related products.
• Proven senior leadership and stakeholder management experience.
• Strong judgement, analytical ability and commercial mindset.
• Excellent English communication skills. Mandarin is advantageous.
