Job Description - HR MANAGER

HR MANAGER – FURNITURE MANUFACTURING COMPANY

Position: HR Manager
Salary: S$3,500 per month-S$4800
Working Days: 5.5 days per week
Accommodation: Provided by the company
Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s daily human resources and administrative operations.
  • Handle employee onboarding, resignation, transfers, contract renewals and other employment matters.
  • Process work pass applications, renewals, cancellations and other manpower-related applications.
  • Assist with applications for government grants, subsidies and relevant support schemes.
  • Check and maintain accurate employee information, employment records and data-entry records.
  • Organise and maintain employee files, company documents and confidential records.
  • Source and recruit suitable candidates according to the company’s manpower requirements.
  • Screen candidates, arrange interviews and follow up on hiring and onboarding procedures.
  • Liaise with the Ministry of Manpower and other relevant government authorities.
  • Ensure that the company complies with Singapore employment regulations and manpower requirements.
  • Oversee company invoicing, purchasing records and inventory management platforms.
  • Prepare clear and timely HR and administrative reports for the Managing Director.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant experience in human resources, recruitment or administration.
  • Knowledge of Singapore employment laws, work pass procedures and MOM systems is preferred.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee record management and HR administration.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work independently and report directly to the Managing Director.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HR, invoicing or inventory systems.
  • Able to handle confidential employee and company information professionally.
  • Good written and spoken English.
