Institutional Vice President (Institutional Coverage & Structured Products)

We are seeking a senior Institutional Vice President to support institutional client coverage, structured investment solutions, and cross-border capital market activities.

The role focuses on servicing institutional investors, asset managers, and qualified high-net-worth clients through investment advisory, structured products, and multi-asset portfolio solutions across Asia markets.

The candidate will act as a senior client-facing representative, working closely with internal investment, operations, and product teams to support end-to-end transaction execution and client servicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Institutional Client Coverage
• Manage relationships with institutional clients, asset managers, and qualified UHNW clients
• Support onboarding and ongoing servicing of institutional and professional investors
• Conduct client engagement and needs assessment to provide suitable investment solutions
• Investment Solutions & Portfolio Structuring
• Provide advisory support on multi-asset investment strategies including equities, ETFs, and fund-based solutions (e.g. FOF structures)
• Assist in structuring customized investment portfolios based on client requirements and risk profiles
• Support portfolio allocation discussions across Hong Kong and Asia equity markets
• Structured Products & Derivatives Support
• Support distribution and advisory of OTC derivatives and equity-linked solutions
• Assist in designing hedging and investment strategies using structured products and swap instruments
• Work closely with product and trading teams to execute client solutions

Capital Markets & Financing Solutions

• Support financing-related solutions for institutional and corporate clients
• Assist in identifying appropriate cross-border financing and investment structures
• Coordinate with internal teams on transaction execution and documentation
• Internal Coordination & Process Support
• Collaborate with middle and back-office teams to ensure smooth transaction processing and client onboarding
• Support implementation of institutional access processes and operational workflows
• Assist in resolving client operational and transaction-related issues
• Business Development & Team Support
• Contribute to business development initiatives and client acquisition efforts
• Support senior management in achieving revenue and business growth targets
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members where required

Requirements

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in institutional banking, private banking, capital markets, or wealth management
• Experience working with institutional clients, asset managers, or UHNW clients
• Knowledge of structured products, derivatives, or multi-asset investment solutions
• Familiarity with Hong Kong and Greater China equity markets preferred
• Strong understanding of investment products such as ETFs, funds, and portfolio solutions
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills
• Ability to work in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline
