Investment Advisor

Key Responsibilities

• Investment Advisory & Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the internal subject matter expert on investment-related topics, including wealth management, asset management, capital markets, portfolio strategies, and investor behaviour, providing strategic guidance to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Content Review & Marketing Advisory: Review campaign concepts, presentations, marketing collateral, and content to ensure investment-related information is accurate, audience-appropriate, and aligned with applicable regulatory and compliance considerations.
• Financial Marketing Strategy: Partner with strategy, creative, content, media, and account teams to develop marketing initiatives that support brand positioning, investor education, thought leadership, lead generation, and business growth for financial services clients.
• Market Research & Industry Insights: Monitor financial markets, investment trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments, translating insights into actionable recommendations that strengthen marketing effectiveness and client outcomes.
• Client Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in client meetings, workshops, and business development initiatives as a trusted investment advisor, helping communicate complex financial concepts clearly while identifying areas that may require legal or compliance review.

What We're Looking For

• Experience & Background: 8+ years of experience in investment advisory, asset management, wealth management, capital markets, financial research, or related financial services fields. Experience working with financial institutions, investment firms, or financial services organisations is highly preferred. Candidates with prior leadership or strategic advisory experience are encouraged to apply.
• Investment & Financial Markets Expertise: Strong knowledge of investment products and financial markets, including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, ETFs, alternative investments, retirement solutions, portfolio management, and wealth advisory. Ability to interpret market developments and translate them into practical business and marketing recommendations.
• Communication & Advisory Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for a broad range of audiences. Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Collaboration & Problem Solving: Strong stakeholder management, consulting, and relationship-building skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while balancing commercial objectives with regulatory considerations.
• Education & Language: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline. Strong English proficiency is required for daily work, including reviewing technical documentation and collaborating with international stakeholders. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to support collaboration with colleagues and clients across Chinese-speaking markets.
