Investment Analyst – Deep Tech

A leading investment platform focused on innovation and strategic growth is seeking an Investment Analyst to support investments across the deep tech ecosystem. This role offers exposure to venture investments, fund-of-funds strategy, ecosystem partnerships, and portfolio development initiatives within high-growth sectors.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation and execution of investment opportunities across deep tech and innovation-focused sectors
• Conduct market research, financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence on investment opportunities and portfolio funds
• Monitor portfolio and fund performance through financial reviews, benchmarking, and ongoing analysis
• Assist in structuring investment proposals and preparing internal investment papers and presentations
• Work closely with internal stakeholders including legal, finance, and investment teams to support transaction execution and portfolio initiatives
• Engage with ecosystem stakeholders including startups, venture capital firms, corporates, research institutes, and innovation partners
• Support business development and value creation initiatives for portfolio companies and investment partners
• Prepare periodic reports and updates for management and key stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Economics, or related disciplines
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, venture capital, private equity, corporate strategy, consulting, or related fields
• Exposure to startups, innovation ecosystems, venture investing, or deep tech sectors would be advantageous
• Strong financial analysis, valuation, and financial modelling skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Self-driven, analytical, and able to work independently as well as within teams
