Investment Professional - Research

Job Description

We are seeking an Investment Professional to cover investment research in commodities, specifically, base metals and ferrous metals sector.

This role will work closely with the rest of the investment team to conduct in-depth research and analyze data on base metals and ferrous metals market, develop strategic portfolio plans aligned with risk-return objectives, assess and quantify risks associated with investment decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance with regional regulations.

This role needs to consistently act with integrity, due skill, care and diligence, uphold ethical standards, pay due regard to the interests of investors and treat them fairly by avoiding conflicts of interest.

Requirements

1. Education: Master's degree in finance, economics or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in global base metals and ferrous metals research, trading and risk management.
3. Market Expertise: Deep knowledge of global base metals and ferrous metals markets, supply chains, regulatory frameworks and derivatives market.
4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in fundamental analysis of base metals and ferrous metals market and trading/risk platforms.
5. Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, strategic planning, cross-functional communication, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, volatile environments.
