PositionOverview

We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and bilingual Investor Relations professional to join our team. We are the Singapore based fund management firm, which manages the fund with a long-term investment strategy focused on constructive engagement with Japanese portfolio companies.

As the primary bridge between our investment team, operations team and our global institutional investor base, you will be responsible for managing investor communications, supporting fundraising initiatives, and articulating our unique engagement-driven value proposition.

Key Responsibilities

• Investor Relations
• Serve as a key point of contact for existing global institutional clients (Pensions, Endowments, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Family Offices).
• Prepare monthly investor letters, presentation decks, and performance reports
• Coordinate and lead regular update calls and meetings
• Manage together with the operations team the due diligence questionnaire process from the investors.
• Fundraising & Business Development
• Support the capital raising process by identifying prospective investors with an interest in Japanese equities and ESG/engagement strategies.
• Create, update, and maintain marketing materials.
• Collaborate closely with the portfolio managers to translate complex corporate engagement activities into clear investor narratives.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor fund flows, and regulatory updates in both global asset management and the Japanese corporate governance landscape.

Qualifications& Experience

• Experience: 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Client Services, or Investment Banking within the alternative asset management space.
• Strategy Alignment: A solid understanding of, or a strong interest in, Value Investing, Shareholder Engagement, and Corporate Governance (ESG).
• Language Skills: Native or business-level fluency in English is required. Proficiency or fluency in Japanese (business/native) is highly advantageous given the fund's geographic focus.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial and qualitative engagement data into clear, persuasive content.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial concepts, Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
