Job Description

We are looking for motivated, inspired, and diverse, talented candidates to join our dynamic team of approximately 15 people from various backgrounds.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and gain valuable experience in high-standard accounting operations while expanding your skills in management reporting, financial compliance, tax filings, and financial statement preparation.

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the financial administration and reporting for one or more entities within the Boskalis Group, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality financial information.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

To include, but not limited to:

1. Maintain a full set of accounts
2. Prepare periodic and ad-hoc financial/management reports
3. Prepare periodic reporting packages to Head Office
4. Prepare tax schedules annually
5. Prepare GST returns quarterly
6. Support in the preparation of annual financial statements
7. Support audit process and liaise with auditors
8. Support recharging process
9. Ad-hoc assignments when required

Requirements:

Education/Certificates:

• Diploma in Accountancy. Fresh polytechnic graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1 to 2 years of related working experience.
• Good knowledge of Singapore FRS, taxation, and GST.

Other Requirements:

• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to perform under work pressure and deadline.
• Intrinsically motivated and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Results and action-oriented, tenacity, resilience, and compassion.

• Your team: You will be part of a team consisting of around 15 people from different backgrounds.
• Where you will work: You will work from our office at 23 Gul Rd, Singapore.
• Full-time/ part- time job: The position of Junior Accountant is a full-time job.
