Junior Operations Analyst

Job Summary:

As a Junior Operations Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting daily operations while also contributing to key project initiatives. Our Middle Office team ensures seamless processes following Front Office activities; from accurate trade entry to the timely delivery of market data to clients. We are looking for a driven and self-directed individual, with the willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Middle Office Operations:

• Work within middle office to ensure smooth operations and improve market efficiency.

• Trade entry to various exchanges and platforms following Front Office activities.

• Validate trade data for accuracy, including billing and invoicing, while resolving discrepancies to maintain compliance and operational standards.

• Prepare and distribute reports and respond promptly to client inquiries on trade and post-trade matters.

• Any other miscellaneous work to support Front Office.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Diploma in and above in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Candidates without experience in a related field are also welcome to apply if they show demonstrable analytical skills.

• Basic knowledge of Excel.

• Demonstrated ability for attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to remain focused under pressure to ensure accurate and timely execution of trades during market hours as these tasks are highly time sensitive.

• Demonstrated ability for effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Singaporean Citizenship or Permanent Resident status in Singapore.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in Middle Office operations at a brokerage is beneficial though not required.

• Familiarity with VBA.

• Understanding of fundamental financial instruments such as spot markets and futures.

• Web Development or Development skills are also highly advantageous to support in project initiatives, though is not required.
