Lawyer, Financial Services Regulatory

Our client, a Top Tier law firm is seeking to recruit a lawyer for their growing Financial Services regulatory team.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on a range of regulatory matters across a wide array of leading international and local institutions
• Draft, review and prepare transactional documentation and provides sound advice on the financial services laws and regulations
• Involved in advising clients on the licensing of business requirements and the financial regulatory aspects of mergers
• Staying upkeep on the latest regulatory developments, including emerging trends within MAS regulations and regulatory changes affecting the financial services industry

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 to 4 years of PQE
• Experienced in corporate or financial services regulatory law
• Experience in licensing and conduct of business requirements, the financial regulatory aspects of mergers and acquisitions is of an advantage
• Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape in Singapore, and preferably with exposure to both local and global financial regulations
• Excellent communication skills, with some knowledge in the financial services regulatory field
