As a Lead Software Engineer in the Foreign Exchange (FX) Services Technology Team, you will develop cutting-edge web applications and APIs that capture, price, and execute passive FX transaction flows across multiple JPMorganChase lines of business, engaging directly with stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions. You will leverage your expertise throughout the software development lifecycle and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve shared goals. Job responsibilities
• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Formal training or certification on engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience with React
• Proficient in coding in front end frameworks such as React, Typescript, HTML, CSS etc.
• Experience in building high-performance desktop/web applications
• Experience in test driven development using modern source control and continuous integration
• Understanding of full software development lifecycle and agile approach
• Passion for interactive design - Clear understanding of UX methodologies
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Exposure to cloud technologies
• Familiarity with designing tools, such as Figma
• Familiarity with Java/Kotlin, Springboot, Maven
• Familiarity with OLAP application and data visualization
