Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Loan Manager to oversee hire purchase financing operations, credit assessment, loan portfolio management, and team leadership within a fast-paced commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full loan application and approval process from customer inquiry to disbursement

• Conduct credit assessments, financial analysis, and risk evaluations for hire purchase financing applications

• Ensure compliance with Singapore financial regulations, internal credit policies, and relevant regulatory requirements

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of loan officers and credit personnel to achieve operational and service goals

• Monitor loan portfolio performance, delinquency trends, and repayment status to maintain portfolio quality

• Work closely with collections and credit control teams on overdue payment management and recovery actions

• Review and ensure accuracy of loan documentation, agreements, and supporting records

• Identify opportunities to improve loan workflows, operational efficiency, and service turnaround time

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including finance, operations, and business development teams

• Prepare regular reports, portfolio analysis, and updates for management review

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Business, Finance, Banking, or related disciplines

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in loan management, credit assessment, underwriting, or hire purchase financing

• Comfortable to handle a team of 4

• Experience leading or supervising a team is preferred

• Good understanding of credit risk assessment and financial statement analysis

• Familiar with Singapore financial regulations and compliance practices related to lending and financing

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders professionally

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

• Candidates with experience in commercial lending, equipment financing, or hire purchase financing will have an added advantage
