Loan Operations (Senior Manager) - Banking

Job Summary

Perform credit documentation and administration to ensure compliance with credit approvals. Manage projects related to credit, loans, and account operations systems enhancements for facility and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare facility letters and documentation aligned with approved credit terms and conditions
• Generate internal monitoring reports on imposed covenants, documentation status, and overdue credit reviews
• Process and update credit annual reviews to maintain accurate records
• Implement credit limits in various systems after verifying documentation completeness
• Lodge and safeguard credit and security documentation securely
• Perform detailed checks on executed bank standard credit and security documents submitted
• Verify draft syndication documents and confirm conditions precedent (CPs) accuracy
• Conduct periodic stock-takes of original facility documents stored in vaults
• Review updates in loan administration, loan agency, and account operation tasks for accuracy
• Manage credit, loan, and account operations projects, coordinating closely with Branch and Head Office staff
• Participate in system user acceptance testing (UAT), enhancements, implementations, and disaster recovery (DR) testing
• Guide and mentor junior staff in loan administration processes to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Act as backup to the Assistant Loan Operations (ALO) Head during her absence in loan administration duties
• Assist with loan and account operations tasks within the team to support smooth workflow
• Execute any additional tasks assigned by the team lead to support department objectives

Required Qualifications, competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 8 years of experience in banking and credit documentation/administration
• Knowledge of various corporate banking products and their features
• Familiarity with credit, security, and ISDA documentation
