Local Clearing (Operation and Clearing Department)

Job Description：

1. Daily BAU processing of Cheque, GIRO, DDA Application, Standing Order, Salary Crediting, Insurance Commission Payout, FAST & PayNow related transaction timely and accurately.

2. Ensure daily BAU tasks are completed on time and within the industry cutoff time.

3. Ensure accuracy in transaction processing, reconciliation, statistics recording and follow-up on exception cases.

4. Provide 24*7 standby/adhoc support for production system maintenance and implementation including production verification testing.

5. Participate in-house or industry testing/exercise as assigned.

6. Review processes and procedures to formulate process improvement, update SOP and user manual.

7. Liaise with various business unit, internal & external customer, service provider when required.

8. Other ad-hoc or administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Familiar & experienced with the local payment (FAST, PayNow, GIRO, Cheque Clearing) processing.

2. Minimum Diploma or Degree holder with at least 3 years of relevant banking experience in Payment processing and testing.

3. Good team player, self-motivated and ability to learn fast.

4. Effective communication skill with good interpersonal, written and verbal skills in both English and Mandarin so as to provide services to internal and external customer and Head Office.

5. Good time management, able to handle multitask and handle stress in a fast paced environment.

6. Meticulous in details and efficient to complete assigned task within the designated timeframe.

7. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

8. Basic knowledge of Payment and AML/CFT will be an advantage.
