Role

This position will be responsible for the daily execution for Cleantech SEA Regional Office Finance function.

Location

Singapore

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Manage the teams in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia
• Support and oversee the day-to-day accounting functions for SEA entities
• Oversee the closing process of all SEA entities and the review of monthly financial statements
• Facilitate statutory audit and year-end closing activities for SEA entities in accordance with the statutory requirements and company policies and procedures
• Review fortnight payment run of all SEA entities and coordinate with approvers for timely approval of transactions
• Business partnering with service providers for tax matters (GST, CIT, ECI, transfer pricing etc) by providing required information for local entities
• Oversee the cost accounting function for SEA entities
• Manage cash resources and banking needs of the business and produce short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts and initiate discussions with finance leadership as required
• Support the Director – Group Controller & Finance (SEA) in the transformation process of IT systems implementation and workflow processes improvement
• Supervise and mentor staff
• Support any other ad-hoc assignments as required

Reporting To

Director –Group Controller & Finance (SEA)

Requirements

· Degree in Finance/Accountancy or its equivalent

· A CPA or certified member of ACCA would be an added advantage

· At least 5 years of relevant experience. Possess good knowledge Singapore FRS, Companies Act and other regulatory requirements

· Familiarity with Business Central accounting software will be an advantage

· Detail-oriented, meticulous, dependable and trustworthy

· Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work well in a team

· Deadline driven & the ability to work under pressure
