Manager, Singapore Finance

Position Overview:

Reporting to Head of Operations Finance (Group), you will lead the Singapore finance team and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial processes. You will hold a pivotal role in financial consolidation, control and analysis, and support our growth in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Consolidation:

• Lead the team in preparing monthly and annual financial consolidations for Singapore group.
• Oversee and ensure the accuracy of management reports for internal and external stakeholders.

2. Team Leadership and Process Optimisation:

• Supervise daily operations and guide Singapore finance team to achieve their goals.
• Implement and review policies and processes to improve efficiency and team performance.

3. Budgeting and Financial Analysis:

• Drive the annual budgeting process and perform in-depth financial analysis at both consolidated and entity levels.

4. Compliance and Coordination:

• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, including tax submissions.
• Manage relationships with external service providers, tax agents, and coordinate on compliance matters.

5. Support and Strategic Projects:

• Assist in property valuation, treasury management, and insurance matters.
• Handle administrative tasks and participate in strategic projects, such as system implementations and M&A activities.

Key Requirements:

1. Technical Proficiency and Experience:

• Strong understanding of IFRS and tax regulations in the Singapore context.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting, with 2-3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Preferably experienced in the real estate industry and familiar with Netsuite by Oracle.

2. Leadership and Analytical Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver timely, accurate financial reports.
• Strong analytical skills for financial planning and analysis.

3. Adaptability and Stakeholder Management:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and perform effectively under pressure.
• Skilled in building and maintaining effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
