The incumbent will lead the Professional Accountancy Hub (PA Hub), drive cross-sector collaboration initiatives and support strategic stakeholder engagement efforts across the profession
The role requires a highly collaborative individual who is comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, identifying opportunities for partnership and translating relationships into meaningful outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Professional Accountancy Hub (PA Hub) & Cross-Sector Network Engagement
Own the strategy and workplan for PA Hub and personally drive its execution, from setting the roadmap to planning and running quarterly meetings end-to-end
Conceptualise and execute co-branded initiatives with PA Hub members, including joint programmes, events and thought leadership platforms (e.g. AI Nexus, TalkTank, Thursdate with ISCA), managing all details from concept to delivery
Identify, pitch to, and onboard new member organisations: leading the outreach personally, from first conversation through to formal onboarding
Identify opportunities for joint initiatives, capability building and knowledge sharing.
Build and personally manage senior-level relationships with leaders and secretariats across partner organisations
Design engagement strategies to deepen member commitment, and take ownership of putting them into practice quarter on quarter
Government & Public Sector Engagement
Develop the annual engagement plan for public sector stakeholders and execute the planned events and initiatives directly (e.g. Public Sector Dialogue)
Own the relationship with the Public Sector Division/PMO, personally leading negotiations to secure ministerial participation for ISCA's annual Ministerial Dialogue session
Plan and deliver the Ministerial Dialogue hands-on — guest curation, programme design, logistics, protocol — ensuring no detail is left to chance
Identify and follow through on new opportunities and developments relevant to the profession and engage public sector counterparts throughout the year
Stakeholder Relationship Management
Act as ISCA's day-to-day relationship owner across trade associations, chambers, professional bodies and government agencies, maintaining regular, hands-on contact
Represent ISCA at external meetings, dialogues and events, and personally prepare all materials needed — briefing notes, talking points, correspondence
Monitor stakeholder sentiment through direct, regular engagement, flagging risks or opportunities that may impact the profession and ISCA to senior management early
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with within the department and across ISCA teams to coordinate stakeholder participation in ISCA programmes, events and strategic initiatives.
Ensure stakeholder engagement activities are aligned with broader organisational objectives.
Support cross-divisional initiatives where stakeholder engagement is required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline.
At least 8 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, government relations, or membership/community management
Prior experience engaging trade associations, chambers, professional bodies, or similar coalition-style networks strongly preferred
Experience working with or liaising with government agencies/public sector stakeholders on event planning or high-level engagements (e.g. ministerial visits, dialogues) is a strong advantage
Track record of conceptualising and delivering partnership initiatives or co-branded programmes with external organisations
Experience working independently with senior stakeholders (C-suite, secretariat leadership, government officials) with minimal supervision
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage credibly at senior levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft briefing notes, talking points, and correspondence for senior management and external stakeholders
Strong event planning and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail — particularly for high-profile or protocol-sensitive engagements
Strategic thinking balanced with strong execution discipline; comfortable owning both the "what" and the "how"
Good understanding of Singapore's trade association, chamber, and professional body landscape is highly advantageous
Diplomatic, resourceful, and able to navigate ambiguity and competing stakeholder interests with sound judgement
Self-starter who can manage multiple concurrent initiatives and stakeholders without close supervision
