We are a Singapore-based custom furniture company specialising in the design, production, and delivery of bespoke furniture solutions for residential and commercial clients.

Our business focuses on providing end-to-end customised furniture services, including consultation, design coordination, production management, and project delivery.

As the company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Managing Director to oversee overall business operations and support strategic expansion.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the company

• Oversee day-to-day business operations across finance, human resources, procurement, and operations

• Monitor and analyse company financial performance, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow position

• Prepare financial forecasts, budgeting plans, and cash flow projections to support business decision-making

• Manage procurement activities, including supplier evaluation, cost control, and supply chain coordination

• Supervise internal administrative and HR functions, including staffing, performance management, and organisational planning

• Ensure operational efficiency across production coordination, project management, and delivery processes

• Develop and implement business improvement strategies to enhance profitability and operational effectiveness

• Review operational reports and provide insights for management decision-making

• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth business execution

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related disciplines

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business management, operations, finance, or related fields

• Experience in manufacturing, furniture, construction, interior design, or related industries is preferred

• Strong understanding of business operations including finance, procurement, and organisational management

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and business performance metrics

• Experience in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial forecasting

• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

• Ability to manage multiple operational functions in a small-to-medium enterprise environment

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage due to supplier and regional coordination requirements

• Willingness to work in a manufacturing / factory-based operating environment and be involved in on-site production oversight when required

Salary Range

SGD 7,500 – 12,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications)
