M&A Associate Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated M&A Associate / Associate Director to join our Southeast Asia M&A team. The candidate will support the origination and execution of strategic M&A transactions across sectors, working closely with senior bankers, clients, counterparties and advisers.
This role requires strong financial analysis, valuation and execution skills, combined with ownership, attention to detail and ability to operate effectively in a lean, fast-paced deal environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies
• Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential M&A transactions
• Participate in both origination and execution of transactions, from the pitch phase through to closing
• Support the preparation of presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance
• Support the origination and execution of transactions including due diligence and drafting of documents
• Maintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets
• Research and analysis of markets and industries
• Research and financial analysis of companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources
• Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank
• Involved in day-to-day project management and execution support

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree/University Degree or Equivalent
• 4 or more years of relevant experience in M&A or Investment Banking
• Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environment
• Strong record of achievement in academics and/or summer/full time employment in related fields
• High level of passion towards development of a career in M&A
• Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills
• Detail orientated and numerate
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of personal integrity and teamwork
