Job Description - Market Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and business opportunities.
  • Monitor market developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activities relevant to the financial services industry.
  • Collect, validate, and analyse data from internal and external sources.
  • Prepare market intelligence reports, presentations, and dashboards for management.
  • Analyse market segments and identify potential growth opportunities.
  • Support business planning by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in evaluating new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and present findings in a clear and structured manner.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the financial services or insurance industry will be an advantage.
