Network Build Engineer

We are looking for a Network Build Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple network projects end-to-end, providing design and deployment support from initiation through to closure.
• Develop Network Design Documents (NDDs) in line with Citi’s standards and configuration templates, and drive approvals.
• Create comprehensive Build Packages, including implementation plans, test plans, and network change documentation.
• Oversee and execute the deployment of network changes across the corporate data network, including weekend implementation during approved maintenance windows.
• Collaborate within cross-functional virtual teams, representing the network domain on large or complex projects, and engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Support knowledge transfer and enablement for new products and solutions across internal teams.
• Contribute to the development of standardized processes and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed and submitted for audit compliance and project closure.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista networking devices (routers and switches).
• Minimum CCNP certification (or equivalent experience).
• Strong expertise in routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• Solid experience with WAN technologies, including Metro Ethernet, MPLS, VPLS, and IPLC.
• Experience with multicast technologies in Cisco/Arista environments is a plus.
• Prior experience in financial services or large-scale enterprise network environments is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended hours for network changes and project deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
