Job Responsibilities:
· Act as the deputy to the Trading & Payment Services Manager, providing leadership support and ensuring business continuity during the Manager's absence.
· Oversee daily operations to ensure service delivery meets established SLAs, operational controls, and regulatory requirements.
· Drive operational excellence through effective governance, risk management, and process discipline.
· Manage end-to-end settlement processing for Foreign Exchange (FX), Money Market, Fixed Income, and Derivatives transactions, including static data maintenance.
· Investigate and resolve settlement exceptions, unmatched confirmations, reconciliation breaks, and counterparty queries.
· Oversee trade confirmations and ensure timely, accurate settlement of transactions.
· Monitor intraday liquidity positions across Asian currencies and support effective liquidity management.
· Manage operational governance and risk controls for CNY and MEPS+ payment activities.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market practices, payment infrastructures, and regulatory developments.
· Support payment optimization initiatives, market infrastructure enhancements, regulatory changes, and industry-wide testing activities.
· Represent the team in internal committees and external industry working groups where required.
· Ensure compliance with MAS regulations, internal policies, and operational risk frameworks.
· Monitor regulatory limits, operational controls, and reporting requirements.
· Identify operational risks, implement mitigating controls, and lead root cause analysis for incidents.
· Maintain and regularly test business continuity and operational resilience plans.
· Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency through process optimisation, automation, and standardization.
· Support business transformation projects, system implementations, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regulatory change initiatives.
· Develop ,review, and enhance operating procedures, work instructions, and best practices.
· Contribute to strategic initiatives impacting trading operations, payment services, and liquidity management.
· Support workforce planning, knowledge management, and succession planning initiatives.
· Adhoc tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
· Minimum Degree in a related discipline
· Minimum 6years of relevant experience in similar capacity
· Able to start immediately or within short notice
