Operations Analyst

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Due to continuedbusiness expansion, the firm is seeking to appoint a suitably qualifiedprofessional to join the operations team in a newly created position. Thisindividual contributor role reports directly to the COO/Senior OperationsManager and will work in close collaboration with other members of theoperations function.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-       Ensure that trades are bookedand processed in the OMS/PMS system in line with expectation

-       Daily reconciliation ofposition and cash

-       Liaising with primebrokers/fund admin on cash and position breaks

-       Executing monthly swap resetsand monitoring against broker data

-       Tracking/Monitoring ofcorporate actions/elections

-       Margin and cash management withvarious counterparties

-       Participate and supportautomation projects, process and workflow enhancement

-       Work closely with internalstakeholders as well as external stakeholders (i.e Prime Brokers and FundAdmin)

-       Any other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

-       Degree with minimum 2-5 yearsof experience in the back & middle office operations of hedge fund/longonly
funds/fund admin/ middle office service providers

-       Analytical mindset and able toprioritise with good time management

-       Experience/exposure to projectmanagement / process enhancement

-       Strong communication &interpersonal skills

-       Prefer systems Knowledge inPMS, Bloomberg and matching systems i.e Traiana/CTM (optional)

-       A team player who is also a self-starter
