Operations Associate (Banking Process Trade, Loans, Remittances) - Perm Role

This is a perm role for one of our banking client

Job Summary

The Operations Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of daily operational processes within the branch's Operations Department. This position is responsible for maintaining service efficiency while ensuring strict compliance with the bank’s policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement & Compliance
   Communicate relevant regulatory updates to clients and proactively review their accounts to enhance service quality.
2. Daily Operational Processes
   Execute start-of-day and end-of-day operational tasks, including:
   Preparing, reviewing, and submitting branch reports in compliance with established policies and procedures.
   Ensuring adherence to bank policies, procedures, and controls related to Treasury, Trade, Loans, and Wealth transactions to maintain audit compliance and implement necessary rectifications.
   Complying with regulations set by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Anti-Money Laundering Council, and other relevant government agencies.
3. Transaction Processing
   Handle and process trade, loan transactions, inward/outward remittances, treasury, and wealth management transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
4. Other Duties
   Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support the department’s objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in banking operations or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and banking policies.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining service excellence
