*About the Role*
We are seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee the end-to-end operational, administrative, and compliance-support functions of a fund management business with cross-border activities across various jurisdictions. Reporting to senior management, the role owns the operating backbone of the business and works closely with external service providers, regulatory partners, and the investment team on all non-investment operational matters.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Oversee day-to-day fund operations and business administration across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage relationships with external service providers, including fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, and banking/custody partners.
- Coordinate fund and entity administration, corporate secretarial, and structuring matters with external counsel and corporate service providers.
- Manage investor onboarding operations, including KYC/AML coordination, subscription processing, and investor relations administration.
- Coordinate periodic NAV, financial reporting, and audit cycles with the fund administrator and auditors.
- Oversee treasury, banking, and custody operational workflows and account administration.
- Coordinate the operational execution and documentation of portfolio transactions with counterparties, counsel, and administrators (non-discretionary; in support of the investment team).
- Design and improve internal processes, operational controls, and workflow automation.
- Manage budgets, vendors, and cross-functional operational projects, and support firm communications and events.
*Requirements*
- Bachelor's degree.
- Relevant experience in fund operations, fund administration, financial services operations, or a comparable operations / COO function.
- Working knowledge of investment fund structures and cross-border fund operations.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to fund management (Singapore / MAS knowledge preferred; US and Cayman exposure an advantage).
- Strong project management, vendor management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Comfort with operational technology and process automation tools.
- Ability to collaborate across US and Asia time zones.
