PERM Bank Funds Executive Officer ($4-6K) #BYR

Job Scope

• Process and execute Mutual Fund and Hedge Fund subscription, redemption, and switch orders accurately and within stipulated timelines for Singapore and Hong Kong booking centres.

• Monitor pending transactions and liaise with counterparties to ensure timely confirmation of NAVs.

• Communicate confirmed NAVs to internal stakeholders and coordinate with settlement teams for transaction booking.

• Investigate and reconcile outstanding orders and discrepancies with counterparties.

• Monitor fund transactions for unusual activities, including large subscriptions or redemptions, and escalate where necessary.

• Respond to queries from Relationship Managers and internal stakeholders on fund operational matters, including settlement cycles, NAV schedules, subscription requirements, redemption terms, and other product-related information.

• Support the launch and onboarding of new funds by understanding operational requirements and coordinating fund setup with custodians and fund houses.

• Maintain fund distribution agreements and related documentation.

• Follow up with fund houses on trailer fee reporting and related operational matters.

• Report operational issues and error trades promptly and ensure adherence to established controls and procedures.

• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.

• At least 1 year of experience in fund operations, investment operations, wealth management operations, or a related financial services environment.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• A proactive team player with a willingness to learn and contribute to process improvements.
