Product Controller

Vice President – Product Controller, Wealth Management Finance

We're supporting a growing financial institution in their search for an experienced Vice President to join their Wealth Management Finance team. This is a high-visibility role partnering directly with senior business leaders to shape profitability, strategy, and financial controls for the business.

What You'll Do

Financial Reporting

• Own daily/monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, P&L and balance sheet analysis
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance commentary
• Ensure accurate, timely deliverables to senior stakeholders

Business Partnership

• Act as strategic finance advisor to business leads and product heads
• Run profitability analysis by client segment, product, and relationship manager
• Support new business initiatives and revenue/cost optimization

Analytics & Reporting

• Build dashboards and KPI frameworks tracking AUM, Net New Money, and revenue trends
• Deliver competitive benchmarking and insights to senior leadership

Regulatory & Team Leadership

• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls
• Manage and mentor a team (on and offshore); partner cross-functionally with Risk, Treasury, Operations, and Technology

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years in finance, including 5+ years in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Asset Management
• 3+ years leading or managing a team
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA/CPA a plus)
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Solid grasp of wealth management products (investments, advisory, lending) and fee/revenue structures
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (Basel III, IFRS) a plus
• Strong communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and manage competing priorities
