REGIONAL COSTING MANAGER

Join a growing advanced manufacturing group supporting aerospace, medical, energy, and industrial sectors. Lead regional costing and manufacturing finance initiatives to enhance costing methodology, improve cost visibility, and influence operational and financial performance across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Review and standardize costing practices across multiple manufacturing sites to build a consistent group-wide costing methodology
• Analyze manufacturing costs including material cost, labour hours, machine utilisation, overhead allocation, scrap, rework, and yield to improve cost visibility
• Conduct variance analysis, inventory valuation, margin analysis, and support cost reduction initiatives to enhance financial performance
• Collaborate with plant finance teams, operations, supply chain, engineering, and site leadership to align costing and financial processes
• Support ERP-related process improvements and system implementation or upgrades related to costing and manufacturing finance
• Translate operational issues into clear financial analysis and practical recommendations for senior stakeholders
• Manage regional responsibilities with approximately 30% travel to manufacturing sites across Asia and Europe

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in precision engineering, electronics manufacturing, semiconductor, aerospace, EMS, or advanced manufacturing
• Exposure to IFRS or equivalent accounting standards relevant to inventory, costing, and manufacturing finance
• Experience with ERP systems supporting costing or manufacturing finance workstreams
• Regional or multi-site manufacturing finance experience
• Strong communication skills to engage cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, engineering, procurement, and finance
