Regional Finance Manager

Job Summary

Oversee financial management reporting and compliance across overseas offices. Lead accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting, internal controls, and credit management. Support business reviews and drive system implementations to enhance financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the timely preparation and presentation of financial management reports from overseas offices to ensure accurate and consistent reporting
• Review monthly and annual financial reports, forecasts, budgets, performance reports, and financial highlights to support informed decision-making
• Ensure effective internal control processes and maintain the integrity of financial reporting in compliance with Group policies and best practices
• Collaborate with overseas accounting teams to meet local, HQ, and year-end reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with statutory, company, tax governance, and group reporting standards
• Lead and manage local accounting teams to maintain proper accounting and internal processes
• Provide guidance on accounting best practices, processes, and international accounting treatments to improve financial accuracy and compliance
• Drive credit control reviews and oversee collection effectiveness to optimize cash flow
• Lead the rollout of information systems to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency
• Support management in business reviews by analyzing market performance, monitoring competitive forces, and providing actionable business feedback
• Execute ad-hoc assignments as directed by the Chief Financial Officer and appointed Assignment Lead

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Accountancy or recognised professional qualification in Accountancy
• Minimum 7–8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in audit and 4–5 years in commercial accounting and business finance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in regional finance operations and stakeholder management across multiple countries
• Strong business acumen with the ability to provide commercial and strategic financial insights
• Willingness to travel frequently
• Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, meticulously, and effectively under pressure
