Regional Finance Manager (Quantitative Investment Firm)

About our client
We are partnering with a leading quantitative investment firm to hire a Finance Manager based in Singapore. This is a foundational role within a growing regional finance function, with exposure across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end accounting for Singapore and overseas entities, including expense review, journal entries, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Review and oversee work quality delivered by external accounting partners
• Manage tax filings and liaise with local tax authorities across relevant jurisdictions
• Maintain day-to-day banking relationships, including reconciliations, account management, and banking correspondence
• Lead the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and providing supporting documentation
• Support management reporting, data analysis, and compliance requirements in line with group standards
• Work closely with headquarters to ensure consistent application of accounting policies across entities

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of full-set accounting experience, with solid knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
• Familiarity with US GAAP or Hong Kong accounting standards is a plus
• Experience in financial services or technology industries preferred; Big 4 or large public accounting firm background is advantageous
• CA qualification (completed or in progress), AICPA, or HKICPA preferred
• Able to independently liaise with banks, tax authorities, and auditors
• Detail-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving environment
