Job Description - Relationship Manager, Private Banking

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients by providing holistic wealth management and financial advisory services.
  • Acquire new-to-bank clients through referrals, networking, and business development activities while deepening relationships with existing clients.
  • Provide tailored investment and wealth planning solutions across a broad range of products, including discretionary portfolios, mutual funds, equities, fixed income, FX, structured products, insurance, and lending solutions.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews, monitor market developments, and proactively advise clients on investment opportunities and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal product specialists, investment advisors, credit teams, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management, managing High-Net-Worth (HNW) and/or Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition, assets under management (AUM) growth, and revenue generation.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, including equities, bonds, mutual funds, structured products, FX, insurance, and credit/lending solutions.
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and business development skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CMFAS Papers 1A, 5, 6A, and M5 (or equivalent regulatory certifications).
  • Established network of HNW/UHNW clients with transferable assets under management is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio construction, and wealth planning strategies.
  • Experience working with international clients or offshore wealth management is an added advantage.
