Our client is an established Asian bank with a growing Corporate Banking franchise in Singapore. As part of its continued expansion across the regional corporate banking segment, the bank is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to manage and develop relationships with Regional Corporates and Multinational Corporations operating across Asia.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of established corporate clients while partnering closely with product specialists and senior management to deliver comprehensive banking solutions across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deepen relationships with Regional Corporates and Multinational Corporations across Singapore and Asia
Identify and originate new-to-bank business opportunities within the assigned client portfolio
Structure and market a full suite of corporate banking products and solutions, including:
Working Capital Financing
Trade Finance
Cash Management
Treasury & Foreign Exchange Solutions
Bilateral and Syndicated Loans
Structured Financing Solutions
Conduct regular client engagement to understand business strategies, financing requirements and growth plans
Prepare credit proposals, annual reviews and transaction recommendations for internal approval
Work closely with Credit, Product, Treasury and Operations teams to deliver tailored client solutions
Monitor portfolio performance and proactively identify opportunities and risks within the client base
Support cross-border business development initiatives in collaboration with regional offices and stakeholders
Requirements
Minimum 5 to 10 years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience
Strong understanding of corporate lending, trade finance, treasury products and cash management solutions
Demonstrated business development and client acquisition capabilities
Experience preparing and presenting credit proposals for corporate clients
Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills
Ability to engage effectively with senior corporate stakeholders and decision makers
Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin would be advantageous as the role involves regular interaction with Mandarin-speaking clients and overseas stakeholders, including the review and discussion of business, financial and credit-related documentation where such communication is conducted in Mandarin.
