Relationship Manager-Corporate Banking/Investment Banking Division

Duties and Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the RM at KEB HANA Bank Singapore Branch will include, but will not be limited to:-

• Act as part of the Corporate Banking/Investment Banking team with a special focus on developing close relations with non-Korean corporates and other FIs in ASEAN region.
• Develop and grow a diversified base of new clients and identify prospective new sources of corporate/project’s lending opportunity and expand relationships to new areas with existing clients.
• Follow international lending markets and banking activities to understand and anticipate trends, with particular focus on ASEAN region. Regularly and proactively share market information with KEB Hana colleagues in headquarter and other branches.
• Establish, develop and maintain strong relationships with international, regional and local commercial banks.
• Prepare necessary credit applications, seek credit approvals and execution/documentation of the syndication transactions in compliance with KEB Hana internal policy

Requirements

• At least 10-15 years of relevant work experience, preferably with a leading international bank or other financial institution in the Asian emerging markets, including at least 10 years of experience in the syndicated loan market and broad exposure to corporate finance.
• Strong understanding of banking sector and deep relations and a clear ability enable success identification and origination of investment opportunities in Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and India
• Strong team player acting as part of the Corporate/Invest Banking team at KEB Hana Singapore branch, willing to be flexible and work outside business hours when needed, to accommodate multiple time zones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with strong editing skills. A good command of Korean and other languages would also be an advantage.
• Understanding of international capital markets, especially the commercial bank market and financial products.
• Able to manage multiple tasks concurrently, prioritize effectively and adhere to deadlines while always paying attention to details
• Experience with loan documentation and credit issues.
• Use of tact, diplomacy and good interpersonal skills in internal and external communications.
