Research Analyst (Buy / Sell Side)

My client, a private wealth management firm is looking to grow their Singapore's office

We're in need of a skilled Research Analyst to provide expert analysis and insights across AI, semiconductors, and the US tech sectors. This role demands a deep understanding of technology trends, market dynamics, and the ability to forecast industry movements. The ideal candidate will influence strategic decisions and innovation within the company through research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis in AI, semiconductor technology, and broader US tech sectors.
• Identify trends, predict potential impacts, and offer actionable insights.
• Develop detailed industry reports, market forecasts, and trend analyses to guide strategic planning.
• Collaborate with product development and business strategy teams to integrate findings and support growth goals.
• Engage with technology experts and participate in industry events to stay updated on developments.
• Provide data-driven insights for product marketing and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in market research or analysis, preferably focusing on AI, semiconductors, or technology sectors.
• Proficiency in analyzing large datasets using statistical tools like SAS, R, or Python.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data.
• Track record of conducting independent research and managing projects. Preferred Skills:
• Expertise in statistical analysis and forecasting.
• Familiarity with current and emerging technologies in AI and semiconductor industries.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
