Role: Loan Operations (Corporate and Private Banking Loans)

Job Purpose

1. Support the Team Lead and Department Head in the day-to-day operations of the department.
2. Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and within established timelines.
3. Review and verify work completed by team members to maintain operational accuracy and efficiency.
4. Escalate any operational issues, discrepancies, or irregularities to the Team Lead or Department Head promptly.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Operations (Corporate and Private Banking Loans)

1. Process loan transactions including drawdowns, rollovers, and repayments for bilateral, syndicated, and private banking loans.
2. Prepare loan advices and confirmations for private banking loans using the relevant loan confirmation systems.
3. Handle outward remittance transactions related to syndicated and bilateral loans.
4. Prepare and post accounting entries for fee amortization and fee recognition.
5. Monitor overdue loan transactions and escalate unresolved items to the Team Lead or Department Head when necessary.
6. Assist in reviewing and updating operational procedures, policies, and working manuals related to loan operations.
7. Participate in loan-related projects, system enhancements, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
8. Perform additional duties and responsibilities assigned by management as required.

Core Competencies

1. At least 1 year of relevant experience in loan operations or banking operations.
2. Good understanding of Corporate Banking Loan or / and Private Banking loan products and structures.
3. Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) requirements.
4. Awareness of operational risk management principles and controls.
5. Familiarity with operational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
