Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SeniorAccountant to join our growing Finance team. The ideal candidate will havestrong full-set accounting experience, hands-on knowledge of NetSuite, a solidunderstanding of Singapore tax regulations, and preferably experience in theblockchain, cryptocurrency, or fintech industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities accurately and on time.
• Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST regulations, and corporate tax requirements.
• Prepare and review GST filings, tax schedules, and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes.
• Assist in finance system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
• Support regional accounting activities and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multinational, fintech, or technology environment.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore GST, corporate tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience handling full-set accounts and financial reporting independently.
• Prior experience in the blockchain, cryptocurrency, digital assets, fintech, or Web3 industry will be a strong advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with regional or multi-country accounting operations.
• Familiarity with digital asset accounting and crypto-related transactions.
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
