Senior Accountant

A pharmaceutical start up business that has anchored Singapore as their HQ with an upcoming manufacturing facility, they are looking for an agile and independent Senior Accountant to be part of their finance team, focusing on their regional commercial and manufacturing operations. 

about the job

Reporting to the CEO, you will work with the in-country accountants and outsourced parties to ensure timely and accurate month-end closing activities and consolidate the overall business financial and management accounts. You will be solely responsible for the full sets of accounts for their Singapore operations. You will prepare management reports, bank reconciliations, cash flow projections and also liaise with external audit and tax agents. You will partner closely with the CEO to provide insightful analysis of business financial performance. As this is a relatively new entity being set up, you will have to be resourceful to work through ambiguous situations and tighten framework and processes while being part of an expanding business. 

skills and experience required

You should ideally be qualified with a degree and/or ACCA with at least 5 years of hands on accounting experiences, preferably some manufacturing exposure. You are proficient with Xero/Quickbooks online and comfortable working as an individual contributor in a lean company and start up environment. You are comfortable working in the west once the manufacturing facility becomes operational.
