Senior Accountant / Accountant

About The Role:

HReasily is looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant / Accountant to take ownership of the day-to-day finance operations across our multi-entity group spanning Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, and Hong Kong. This role sits at the operational core of the finance function and is well-suited to someone who combines strong accounting fundamentals with the initiative to identify and resolve issues without being directed at every step.

This is not a narrow bookkeeping role. The right candidate will own the full accounting cycle, ensure the numbers are accurate and timely, and actively contribute to building more reliable finance processes across the group.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Monthly Close

• Own the end-to-end monthly close process across group entities, ensuring accounts are closed accurately and on time. 

• Prepare and maintain full P&L, balance sheet and general ledger entries across multiple subsidiaries, including intercompany transactions and eliminations required for consolidation.

• Perform reconciliations across key balance sheet accounts — AR, AP, accruals, deferred revenue, intercompany balances, and bank accounts — and resolve discrepancies proactively.

Billing, AR & Collections

• Manage customer billing, invoicing and collections reconciliations; identify gaps, missing invoices or revenue leakage and follow through to resolution.

• Track AR ageing and overdue balances; support collections activity and escalate issues where needed.

Cash & Reporting

• Prepare cashflow reports and assist with maintaining visibility over the group's cash position.

• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis as required by the CFO.

Systems & Data Integrity

• Handle input and maintenance of financial and operational records across accounting software (Xero), invoicing platforms (Chargebee), collections systems and reporting tools — ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems.

Statutory & Compliance

• Manage GST filings, corporate tax submissions, and other statutory compliance obligations across relevant jurisdictions on time.

• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax agents and corporate secretaries across entities; ensure audit and statutory deadlines are properly tracked and managed.

• Assist with administrative tasks related to maintaining active legal entities in multiple countries.

Process Improvement

• Identify and implement improvements to close processes, reconciliation workflows, filing discipline and internal controls.
  

What We're Looking For

• 4–6 years of accounting experience, with a strong foundation in full-cycle accounting and balance sheet ownership.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent; CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred.

• Prior experience in a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, Regional Accountant or Assistant FC capacity.

• Direct exposure to multi-entity or regional accounting, including consolidation and intercompany entries.

• Experience with statutory and tax compliance across at least one ASEAN jurisdiction beyond Singapore.

• Hands-on experience with Xero or equivalent cloud accounting systems; familiarity with Chargebee or billing platforms is an advantage.

• Tech-savvy individual with strong sense of accountability

• Strong Excel skills; able to work with large datasets and build reconciliation templates without supervision.

• Comfortable working in an environment where systems and processes are still being built — and motivated to improve them rather than simply maintain them.

• Able to manage multiple deadlines, prioritise independently, and escalate clearly when needed.
