Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager (4yrs exp/Deg/Financial)

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Support the Finance Manager in the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Compile and analyze financial data to assist in the development of budgets and financial plans.
• Monitor budget performance and variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and presentations for management as needed.
• Analyze key financial metrics and trends to provide insights and recommendations.

Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor cash flow projections and manage cash balances to ensure liquidity.
• Review and approve payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial regulations.
• Assist in preparing tax returns and other statutory filings.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations affecting the organization.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy / Finance / ACCA or equivalent
• At least 4 years of relevant experience
• Good analytical skills and able to work independently or as a team player
• Able to handle tight deadline
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice is a plus
