Senior Accountant (Central Full Set Distribution) DT

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports, including quarterly GST submissions
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, maintain supporting schedules, and prepare management reports
• Manage statutory financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial service providers
• Ensure consistency between statutory financial statements and group reporting requirements
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy, and month-end closing timelines
• Support finance projects and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in audit, financial accounting, or financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and statutory compliance
• Experience managing audits, GST reporting, and regulatory filings
• Analytical, meticulous, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
