Senior Accountant (Group Consolidation/Manufacturing)

The Company

Our client is a leading global contract manufacturer of high-precision medical devices and components. Backed by decades of advanced engineering expertise and state-of-the-art global facilities, they are a trusted partner to the world’s top healthcare innovators. Headquartered in Singapore with manufacturing sites across the US, China, and Vietnam, they are currently expanding their corporate finance team in Singapore to support their continued global growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Group Financial Consolidation: Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of group-level financial statements under SFRS(I) / IFRS, including intercompany eliminations, minority interests, and goodwill schedules.

• Compliance & Audit Management: Coordinate with overseas subsidiaries and global finance teams to manage multi-jurisdictional statutory accounts, filing deadlines (ACRA, IRAS), and the year-end external audit process.

• Treasury & Intercompany Support: Oversee intercompany loan schedules, transfer pricing documentation, related-party disclosures, and foreign currency translations.

• Holding Company Accounting: Handle full-set entity accounting for the Singapore investment holding company (APG), covering payroll, fixed assets, and management accounts.

• Systems & Processes: Leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to extract financial data, standardize reporting templates, and onboard new entities into the group framework.

Job Requirements

• Education & Credentials: Degree in Accountancy or Finance. A professional qualification (CA Singapore, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.

• Experience Level: * Minimum 5–7 years of total accounting experience.

  • At least 3 years specialized in a group consolidation or group reporting function.

  • Prior experience in a Big 4 audit firm is highly preferred.

• Industry & Environment: Experience in a manufacturing environment (precision engineering, medical devices) is highly preferred. Experience with Singapore-listed or internationally-listed corporate structures is an advantage.

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of SFRS(I) / IFRS standards relating to consolidation (SFRS(I) 10, 3, 1-21, 1-36). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and multi-currency foreign exchange accounting.

• Systems: Familiarity with mid-to-large tier ERPs; hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central is a strong plus.

• Core Attributes: Detail-oriented, independent, able to manage tight deadlines across multiple time zones, and possesses strong communication skills to align regional stakeholders.
  
  Basic $5900 - $6500 + AWS + Variable Bonus
