Senior Accounts Executive

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client to hire a Senior Accounts Executive to oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting functions. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of full sets of accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements.

• Manage and maintain the full set of accounts (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash/Bank)
• Handle accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and Cash Flow statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules.
• Monitor daily cash flow, manage working capital, and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries for year-end audits and secretarial matters.
• Analyze financial data and variance reports to provide insights on business performance.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives
• Review, implement, and streamline internal accounting policies, workflows, and controls to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in handling full sets of accounts.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification
• Up-to-date knowledge of local tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
