SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, costing analysis, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and audit support. This role works closely with the Operations team to ensure accurate financial reporting, cost control, and business performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of full sets of accounts and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Prepare management accounts and support statutory financial reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors and support audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and Singapore regulatory requirements.
• Perform costing analysis, budgeting, and cost control for operational projects.
• Analyse cost trends and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Prepare financial and operational reports for management review.
• Ensure timely and accurate issuance of customer invoices and supporting documents.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Process supplier invoices, staff claims, petty cash claims, and payments.
• Perform invoice verification and three-way matching.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
• Work closely with the Operations Department on project costing and business requirements.
• Conduct job-site audits and financial reviews when required.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in full set accounts and month-end/year-end closing.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in costing, budgeting, or service-related industries will be an advantage.
