Senior Accounts Executive

Salary: Up to 6k

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accounting processes comply with applicable Accounting Standards and JSOX requirements.
• Support and execute month-end closing activities in a timely manner.
• In-charge of the general ledger and management closing
• Perform cost centre accounting and prepare related financial reports.
• Provide guidance and review the work of team members when required.
• Oversee fixed assets accounting and maintain accurate asset records.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist in analysing financial statements and preparing management reports.
• Consolidate financial accounts across entities.
• Prepare and consolidate GST filings.
• Prepare Corporate Tax and Pillar Two tax filings.
• Prepare statutory schedules and supporting documents for annual external audits.
• Complete and submit surveys and reports required by statutory authorities.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Involve in ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant qualification or a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience handling full sets of accounts and financial reporting.
• Able to multi-task, work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Meticulous, analytical, initiative and good problem-solving skills
• Familiar with SAP system and experience in external/internal audits
• Well versed in MS Excel and spreadsheet techniques with exceptional numerical proficiency
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Adaptable and willing to embrace new challenges
