About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, meticulous Accountant / Senior Accounts Executive to oversee our daily accounting operations and financial reporting.

This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who is confident in handling full-set accounts, managing operational inventory, and guiding a small team. You will have a direct impact on our financial workflows, internal controls, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Management

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports to support business decisions.

• Supervise a team of 2 accounting staff and oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR), invoice/payment processing, and bank reconciliations.

Treasury & Cash Flow

• Monitor and manage daily cash flow, maintain robust banking relationships, and provide financial insights on capital expenditures.

Inventory & Operations

• Manage inventory costing, stock valuation, and review stock provisions.

• Coordinate and assist in monthly physical stock take exercises, investigate variances, and reconcile stock reports.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Partner with management, external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries to ensure full compliance with statutory regulations (including Audit, Tax, and Annual Return filings).

• Review, implement, and monitor financial control systems to optimize workflow efficiency and safeguard company assets.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional Qualification: CA Singapore (or currently pursuing) is a strong advantage.

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience handling full sets of accounts and closing.

• Industry Exposure: Experience in handling inventory accounting, stock valuation, or costing is highly preferred.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using SAP is a major asset. Thorough knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).

• Soft Skills: Confident communicator with strong leadership potential to develop junior staff and manage external auditors/stakeholders.
