Senior Accounts Executive (EPC / Engineering)

A specialist engineering services company supporting high-tech manufacturing industries is looking for an experienced Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive to join their growing Singapore finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a hands-on role suited for someone who takes ownership of their work, is comfortable with project-based accounting, and wants to grow within a technically complex, regionally active business.

Respomsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping including vendor and client invoicing, bank reconciliations, and manage banking matters as required
• Prepare management reports, project P&L, cash flow forecasts, and annual budgets
• Liaise with tax agents and handle GST, corporate tax, and other statutory filings and payments across relevant jurisdictions
• Ensure all reports comply with Group policies, applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Follow up closely on AR collections from clients and coordinate prompt AP payments to vendors, subcontractors, and other counterparties
• Assist with project financing applications including compiling project information, cash flow schedules, and supporting documentation for bank submissions
• Monitor and control intercompany transactions, AR/AP balances, cash flow, and balance sheet items
• Coordinate with company secretaries on corporate filings and statutory compliance matters
• Support external auditors and assist in the timely completion of statutory audit exercises
• Assist with ad-hoc assignments and special projects as required

Requirements:

• At least 5 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience, background in Engineering, Construction, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences sectors preferred
• Prior exposure to project-based accounting and POC accounting will be advantageous
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/project costing systems
• Familiarity with multi-currency transactions and cross-border regulatory frameworks a plus
• High integrity, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
