Job Description - Senior / Analyst, Finance

We’re looking to add a Senior / Analyst, Finance in Singapore. The position will be based in our corporate office in AMK.

As a Senior / Analyst, Finance, you will :

Reporting to Group Senior Finance Manager, you will develop and maintain financial metrics for management reporting and decision making. Perform management analysis of the group performance against forecast/budget and review of Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and working capital. Support group consolidation and SGX reporting. Champaign finance automation and digitalisation projections.

  • Support the group’s financial and management reporting function and prepare group consolidation materials for monthly financial updates to top management.
  • Prepare quarterly SGX reporting materials and commentaries.
  • Perform monthly review of the group’s performance with effective analysis of the income statement including revenue, gross margins and cost management.
  • Support benchmarking of the group’s financial, operational and working capital metrics to drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
  • Perform balance sheet review of the group’s subsidiaries.
  • Analyse financial performance against the Budget, forecast and prior year.
  • Liaise with Site Finance and Operations to collect and consolidate data required to perform sales and profitability analysis.
  • Perform cost and capex analysis to monitor operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
  • Working with finance manager to champaign finance automation and digitalisation projections.
  • Perform feasibility studies, ROI review, project management and support system implementation.
  • Working closely with Treasury, monitor working capital positions and liaise with Treasury and Site Finance to identify areas for optimisation.
  • Support annual goodwill testing through the review of cash flow forecasts and DCF models.
  • Support consolidation and analysis of annual budgets and comparatives with actuals and forecasts
  • Any other ad-hoc Group financial analysis and projects.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

  • Good Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • At least 4 years of relevant FP&A experience with a multi-national or large local corporation.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience including Big 4 audit experience as well as FP & A experience with multi-national of large local corporation.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Independent worker with strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Meticulous with keen attention to detail.
  • Willingness and ability to work with high volumes of data and translate them into meaningful output.
  • Ability to link operational outcomes with potential accounting issues.
  • Flexible and willing to support other areas of Finance when necessary.
  • Occasional travel to overseas site offices will be required.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadline.
