As Singapore continues to strengthen its position as a Global Financial Hub, our Financial Advisory Services practice is expanding. We are looking for adaptable and committed professionals to support a variety of valuation and transaction-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform industry and macroeconomic research using online resources and publicly available data to evaluate market conditions and benchmark business performance.

• Review historical financial and operational information of target companies by analysing accounting records and engaging with management teams.

• Prepare assessments of historical and projected financial information, including earnings quality and working capital analysis, to understand factors influencing cash flow and valuation outcomes.

• Build financial and valuation models to support transactions, investment decisions, and financial reporting requirements.

• Carry out business valuation exercises for transaction advisory and reporting purposes.

• Support assurance teams by evaluating external valuation reports, including purchase price allocation, financial instruments, and goodwill or intangible asset impairment assessments.

• Review and assess valuation assumptions and methodologies to ensure alignment with SFRS / IFRS requirements and International Valuation Standards (IVS).

• Assist with technical research on valuation and accounting matters to determine their impact on transaction structures and financial assessments.

• Support the preparation of client reports, schedules, and relevant documentation for stakeholders.

• Collaborate effectively with team members by maintaining communication, sharing knowledge, taking ownership of responsibilities, and keeping senior colleagues updated on progress.

• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with client representatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a quantitative discipline, with strong academic performance.

• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in a related industry. Audit background will be considered an advantage.

• Strong analytical, financial modelling, and numerical capabilities, with a good understanding of financial statements.

• Ability to apply commercial thinking and create practical solutions when addressing complex challenges.

• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality service and excellent client outcomes.

• Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, CVA (Chartered Valuer and Appraiser), or active progression towards these certifications.
